Why Facebook is Good for Marketing?

Facebook was launched by Mark Zuckerberg with his fellow friends on February 4, 2004. Purpose of Facebook is to make the world more open and connected. They have the mission that people use Facebook to stay connected with friends and family, discover what’s going on in the world and share and express what matters to them. Facebook for Business: This can be a powerful way to communicate with customers and potential customers allowing them to see your product or service without having to visit your premises. Facebook also allows users to tag photos to indicate if a Facebook friend appears in them. Businesses can use this feature to market their product and services also. DO’s and Don’ts: · Keep It Short: In today’s era, people are less patient. They like to see the content than to read. Post more images and videos to convey your messages and updates instead of text. · Post Frequently: Keep audience informed by posting photos, promotions and special offers. Also provide relevant links. If you post too infrequently, your audience will forget that you exist and you will quickly fade into the deep dark recesses of their minds. · Be Genuine: Connect with your user in a non-robotic way. Talk in a conversational way. The more you connect with people, understand their needs and issue, the more you will get to solve it and be a good marketer. · Get Feedback: Listen to your users, it will help you develop new producers and improve on the existing ones. Bad feedback is also helpful for an organization. As you get a chance to learn from your previous mistakes. · Respond: Don’t get tired of answering questions and responding to feedback. Also never forget to say Thank You. Encourage your audience to review your product and service. The more ratings and reviews, the more likely you are to positively influence your edge rank.
